 Wye Pursuits are offering 20% off of all canoe and kayak hire on the River Wye throughout April incuding weekends! This offer excludes river shuttle service. To get the 20% discount just quote ‘Spring’ when booking!

The east of the country is suffering drought conditions at the moment, that’s not the case here in the Wye Valley! We have had thunder and lightening, heavy rain and the biggest hail stones we’ve ever seen! We now have lovely sunshine and plenty of water in the river making the conditions fantastic for canoeing and kayaking on the River Wye.

We have lots of people on the river today sadly I’m not one of them, I have a busy day ahead arranging canoeing, kayaking and climbing courses for the coming months…….Watch this space!

What a great week it has been!

Warm, sunny and light nights, a fantastic start to the season, long may it continue!!! We have had some lovely people in this week, all very keen to get on the river and enjoy being in the great outdoors after such a long cold winter, the River Wye froze over on Boxing Day, for the first time in 40 years, a pretty spectacular sight, enough of that bbbbrrrrr….

We have an exciting week coming up with lots of activities on land and water planned and we are expecting a delivery of Mambo sit on tops kayaks, singles and doubles, which we will have some great package deals on. It’s also Mothers Day this week and we have had lots of enquires from people looking for something different to surprise there mums with on Sunday, we are expecting to see lots of mums in canoes this weekend!!
